chattanooga
so i am in chattanooga now. i got here yesterday. My dad and i left the house at six in the morning, got here around 12. The only time it rained all day was the 10 minutes that we were bring my stuff from the car to the house. Dad left right away to drive the six hours back home. But michael came and helped me unpack for a while then me, him, his roomate, and his roomate's girlfriend went out to eat and they showed us around chattanooga kinda. All my roomates are very nice: Katy (other clemson intern, we share a room) Sarah Grace (lives here always) and Rachel (her sister, lives here always and goes to school here). I also met a lot of Sarah Grace and Rachel's friends and they are really awesome. The house i am staying in is the Presbyterian Campus Ministry's house, so I was talking to them about mission trips they had been on and good churches and such. Anyways...today was my first day of work so it was a lot of walking around and getting a tour around the buildings, meeting people, watching safety videos, filling out paperwork, and watching people do stuff. Katy and I have our own office which is cool. But it was so cool talking to everyone. Its a christian based company so i saw people doing devotionals, had bibles on their desks, talking about sunday school, i talked to this one guy for hours about how he got saved and how we are a lot alike and he is even gonna give me some CDs he likes of this one speaker. Its really awesome that way. and they are all about fitness. my company has a gym and raquetball court. and wednesday is fitness day where we sign up for an event. oh, and there is another dude there our age named ryan from clemson. didnt know him before...but he seems nice. he, katy and i ate lunch together downtown during our break.
