The Cost of Living...
SONYA (My Car) was dead when I tried to go to work Thusrday morning... LAME. I got a ride into work, and KNEW that I had to deal with it if I was going to do ANYTHING I needed to this weekend... Later, I went to see AGAINST ME! (Opening acts were JUST DIE! & OFF WITH THEIR HEADS, both kinda stupid/cute/lame) AM! Was as amazing as I thought they'd be! Ticket cost me 14$ I got a sub on the way there, and picked up some chips for the ride so that's (we'll call it) 5$ (Erin bought me the chips!) I didn't pay for the ride/gas/etc.
So, I wake up Friday morning... I had slept in my classes, and had broken them... LAME.
Yeaah... so I call AAA and they come and give me a jump... (0$) and I drive over to NAPA Autoparts... I get what I need (111$) and Call my DAD, for it was his Birthday! (He takes care of the cost of the battery) Erin and I hang out and Saturday we head down to Charlotte... Erin takes a while @ work... we don't get down till mid-day (LAME) We get the rings (Also 0$), and learn of my parents' plot to give us a truck... that takes a LONG time to deal with... we travell a bit and find a place that will skip the new perscription, and just give me new frames... they litterally POP my old lenses out for the frame (further breaking them) and POP them into new (uncomfortable) frames... this cost around 65$... We get some Wolfman's Pizza (R), and then run as fast as possible back home to try to get the car(s) inspected/checked/oil changed before 5pm... The truck cannot be inspected without the paperwork that we don't have yet... and my card is riddiculed (sp?!) by the garage crew... to the tune of 89$.... FUCK. (FOR AN OIL CHANGE!)
I'm a lil pissed... Anywho, Erin and I drive our (NEW) cars back (with some stress as there might have been an issue with the truck's brakes)... We watch the spirit in there somewhere, I hit 70, and I play POWERS sunday night... it's just about 8am and I haven't felt rested or calm in like 4 days... ugh.
