To your question--I'm saying nothing on that subject!!!

Quality father-son time with these two might be difficult to come by... As evidenced by how Arthur's projection of his dad acts. "Here, son, have a bomb. Make me proud and disarm it, will you?" Yeah, Arthur has issues.

Glad you enjoyed it! :D

Technically it would be quality... in the same way that bad luck is still luck. Not answering about Arthur; you'll find out soon enough. As to Tony... I point you to the end of the last installment. I have three parts of this battling to be written, so we'll see which one gets up first.

This chapter makes me want to punch Tony Stark and for the most part I adore Tony. Father-son angst well done.

Eagerly anticipating the next chapter.

Thank you! (In fairness to him, he wasn't entirely accurately represented by the projection.)

True. It is how Arthur feels about him and how Arthur thinks Tony feels about Arthur, if that makes sense.

Exactly! So Tony's actions had a part in making the projection act the way it did, but weren't the only source.

Poor Arthur, but not really, since it's his own mind messing things up for him. And lol at the daddy projection saying, "make me proud".

I'm looking forward to seeing how Arthur fixes this issue. It's like he's got a mischievous version of Mal.

Now I'm wondering how Arthur's going to cut himself off from the extraction business, because there'll be fallout either way. Is he going to disappear completely or give his two weeks notice and ignore everyone? (At least until he's worked things out.)

Not telling--but I just started the next part, so you'll probably find out soon anyway. :)

Thank you! And I will admit to finding some amusement in their relationship as well, especially in the projection of Tony in this installment. (And this is significantly less angsty than some of my old work, so there's some room for humor.)
