What the shit is with this Acorn hate?

From what I understand, they're an organization whose sole purpose is registering voters.

Republicans don't like Acorn because they register poor voters. Poor voters tend to vote for Democrats.
Who the hell gives a fly pube about Acorn?

They had some trouble a while back because of voter REGISTRATION fraud, basically workers taking fake names to boost their numbers.

They are having some trouble now because of some stupid workers got caught on video being stupid.

They have since had all funding removed and are apparently enemy #1.

Meanwhile...
Contractors in Iraq outnumber soldiers, make their employees sign non-disclosure forms to protect the company in case they get raped, and make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year EACH.

Corruption in ACORN?

For fuck sake, KBR is still electrocuting AMERICAN SOLDIERS in Iraq.

Picking on ACORN is like beating up a trick-or-treater while a defense contractor makes your family sign a nondisclosure form, rapes them, blows up your house and then sends you a bill.

What the hell is wrong with people?

Acorn controversies including voter registration fraud

Actual Voter Fraud 2000

Actual voter fraud 2004

Actual incompetence

No corruption here.

Nothing to see here.

"Contractors" in Iraq 180,000+

Troops in Iraq - Total 124,000 U.S. troops as of September 30, 2009. All other nations have withdrawn their troops.

Private Contractors in Iraq, Working in Support of US Army Troops - More than 180,000 in August 2007, per The Nation/LA Times.
Actual corruption

Contractor jobs start at $100,000.

Your point being?

I gots zero love for mercenaries, da war, or militarized cops.

My point being...

That not looking at facebook, is hardly a reason for a blanket charge of incompetence.

P.S. When will Obama and the democrat supermajority end the travesty in Iraq?

... but it is yet another piece of evidence of just how out of it the republicans are....

Is this nearly as important as the incompetence they showed in getting us into Iraq etc etc??

Hell no.. but on a public relations front over the long term, it is only undermining their cause... which I find rather amazing... I mean.. the latest polls show that the Republicans in Congress and the Party overall is less popular than either Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid by significant margins.

That takes a special kind of effort.

As for your PS---August 2010 is the timetable for all US troops to be out of Iraq.

Now.. the bigger problem for me is getting them the fuck out of Afghanistan.. instead of sending more there..

Edit--wrong icon choice..
