Update on Mama's voting.. a guide... (and info about Friday..)
Howdy all again!
As many others have already noted... my best half, mistressmarla, made it to the second round in the category of Best Female Vocalist due to all of your wonderful votes...
Now.. it is time again to vote.. and this time the competition is supposed to be a bit more intense--with last years winner also in the competition..
In any case.. here, again, are some of the instructions for how to vote--AND YOU MUST VOTE SOON, BECAUSE VOTING ENDS A WEEK FROM TODAY ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 8TH!!!
1. If you have already registered--which you needed to do to vote in the first round--then you should have received an email with the subject line "MAMAs - 2nd Round Information" . I found it in my hotmail Junkmail... Once you open it up, it has a link that you click on that takes you to 2nd voting stage... It may ask you to login again--so make sure you have your login (the email address that the mail was sent to.. and your password.. which should also have been sent to you at some point..)
2. If you have not already registered--then supposedly you still can.. so go register here under the "Become a Mama's member" link.
Once you are a member, then you should receive a "MAMAs - 2nd Round Information" email within 24 hours, so keep checking, BUT MAKE SURE THAT YOU BECOME A MEMBER NO LATER THAN NEXT MONDAY, MARCH 6TH! Better yet, do it right now!
3. Once you get the email and click the link and are at the voting stage, it's a lot easier than last time.. when you get to the voting screen, on the left hand side there will be a bunch of categories, and when you click on one, it gives you the voting choices--and you just pick who you are going to vote for.. no listening for 1 minute or good, better, best, or any such thing..
So just go vote for Jai in the Best Female Vocalist, and all of our other awesome homies (matt, jason, Eric O., and Josh L, for example) as well as Inferno as best band site and MC Audio for best music store and all that good stuff...
4. IMPORTANT NOTE--you have to vote in all categories at the same time--because once you submit your vote, you cannot go back... or at least.. go vote in all the categories that you want to vote in.. and then submit your vote...
Finally, IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT FRIDAY!!! Although ffejeff spoke of a voting party this coming friday at the Kundesoll house, due to many circumstances (such as birthdays of our friends, weird voting procedures that make it impossible for people to vote if they receive their email through Outlook, and the fact that we have many kidlets here and Jai's need to work at 8am the next day), we have decided to delay a party until after the awards ceremony... Then we can give you all thanks for all of your support!!
