Fic: Rodeo Clowns 1/3ish

May 07, 2008 21:11

I actually wasn’t going to put this in my continuity, but with the stocks and the investing and the Arc reactor and the renewable energy source… it was just a little too perfect!  Plus it finally gave me something to do with Barricade. Who I guess was somewhere picking his toes for Naturalized.

A little spoilery for Revelation (as this takes ( Read more... )

Oh, the violence! Of course there will be violence. What good are these fanboy-appeasing crossovers if not for bot(ish) on bot violence?

I'll see if I can't work some BOOM in there while I'm at it. I've been feeling a serious lack of BOOM in my stories.

I am suddenly realizing that I've said that to you several times before.

Ah well, bears repeating.

You are full of awsome. I wish that I had half your writting ability. And I concur, your Tony voice is awsome. When I finnished it this line just popped into my head(It would be said when Tony is hypotheticly being questioned about how he finds out about the autobots) where he say "I just took a look at the situation and thought to myself 'Self. This here looks like a goverment coverup.'" I can't wait for further updates.

Oh my goodness! Is this a dream!? A crossover that actually works and is a joy to read at the same time?!
Holey moley. I haven't seen a really good crossover like this in a very long time probably because this time around it's two continuities that can actually fit together (as opposed to, say, that Naruto/Transformers thing on ff.net right now O.o)

Oh Percy. No matter what you look like or where you are people will still want to call you by your nickname :)

Also, I love the embedded bits about how business and stock markets work - The more factual things about science, psychology (and various others) that you usually put into your fiction are always so interesting to read - the concepts in your last chapter of Revelation were riveting - I usually feel several shades less stupid after reading. Yay learning! :D

I haven't been able to see the new Ironman movie yet but this fun, snarky version of Tony is very nice (especially after having read Civil War and such. Oh God.)

Heh, post-Civil War trauma seems to be a thread around here. But this version of Tony isn't anywhere near as angsty or... fascist or what have you as 616 Tony. And this one's easier to write, anyway. I'm not a big angst fan. ;) (SEE IRON MAN)

I was a little worried about the business bits, but they were interesting to me so I figured they might be to others. Part of the benefits of having an economics major for a roommate. :D

Awesome. I have been jonesin' for an IronMan/TF crossover after seeing the movie...one that did NOT involve the Avengers, thank you very much.

Thank you for answering my prayers!

Oh, man, I can't imagine the convolutedness if one were to involve the Avengers. Okay, Sammy J. was cute and all, buuuuut... I'm gonna ignore the "Avengers Initiative" for now.

lol, well, I said that because Marvel already is doing a comic crossover of G1 Transformers and the Avengers.

Here is, however, a giant Tony taking on Megatron:

If you want to see much, much crack, please check out: http://community.livejournal.com/scans_daily/tag/transformers (the uncut image at the very bottom of the first page is by far my favorite)

I read part of the Avengers/TF crossover... my God that shit was lame. I didn't even get this far, and really, what the hell? Brief robot/robot(ish) fight, Tony quickly gets the shit knocked out of him, everyone stands and watches, and Megs is like "Welp. See y'all later!" LAME.

I especially recall their rationale for getting them to fight in the first place being pretty lame. Something like... angry brain rays?
