How about a brief introduction?
Sup!

Fabulous! And what got you into fanfiction to begin with?
I think I can safely say I cranked out horrible, horrible shit that could be considered 'fanfic' as early as first grade when I had a deep and abiding Neverending Story fixation.  But 'fanfic' proper, that would be when I was sixteen and had just gotten the Internet.  It was for Phantom of the Opera. Yes, it was as bad as you think it is.

I see. So what kind of fanfiction do you like to write?
I'm kind of an elitist prick, same with fanfic as with everything else I write/do.  Even if it's the most retarded shit you've ever read (read: punfic) I won't do it unless it has some sort of point. So most of my stuff has like... massive allegory/theme/that sort of thing. Hey, why not?

Do you find writing easy? Hard? What are the aspects of writing you struggle most with?
Depends on how firmly what I'm trying to get out was already in my head.

Write a few sentences or so of your favorite pairing or character.
Looked through some notes for Revelation, here's one that probably won't make into any chapters:

Perceptor wasn’t usually wont to say things he didn’t mean, so upon his decision that human wastefulness and the “culture of excess”, as he put it, needed to stop, the one creature that bore the brunt of his wrath the most was the bovine, which Perceptor initially swore to eradicate by way of a virus, as he asserted, there was no creature that needlessly taxed more resources.  Miles had talked him out of it, citing it as a bad idea because it would cause the economy to crash, if for no other reason, and that would be Bad.

Aaand here's another one that may or may not be in Revelation later:

"I love you! Don’t you see, brother? I love you! And it’s because I love you that I have to do this!"

I leave it up to you to figure out who that is. ;)

Are there any fanfiction clichés or trends you're sick of or just can't stand?
Yeah, quite a few.  SHIPPING. I do not, for the life of me, understand shipping. Honestly, most TF fanon bugs the shit out of me. The terms 'sparkling' and 'youngling' and all that shite. Slash is its own basket of Freudian woe, but not one I'm going to get into here.

Are you guilty of any fanfiction clichés you hate? Or any other ones?
Generally the term 'bonded' and 'spark bonding' and the whole concept annoys me, yet I use the shit out of it! If in my own more specified, spark-free incarnation (which, surprisingly, I've not seen anywhere else).  I'm also rather guilty of woobification. Poor, poor Miles.

What was the first fandom you wrote for, and do you still like/participate in it?
Heh. Heh. Phantom. I swear everyone's got to have a Phan phase. And no, not really, save peripherally.

Name your OTPs or most frequently written pairings/characters and explain what it is about them that you love to write.
I do not have OTPs, and really, I don't get the whole concept of 'pairing' fic. I dunno, if, in the rare occasion, I should choose to pair (and it is rare) I more or less look at it as 'mine!', and anyone else that does it is just doing an alternate interpretation, and not one that I'd be particularly interested in based on concept alone.  But Miles and Percy are my most frequently written, purely because they just have such a unique and great dynamic, and are curiously easy to write.

What would you call your writing style?
Sardonically... profound srs bsns pulp fiction.

Do you read other people’s fanfic? If so, what do you find yourself reading the most?
I don't have a trend, really. I find I stay away from things. If it involves the word 'Twins' I steer clear (I know, I know, sorry, they annoy the shit out of me. I just don't buy 'tee hee, pranks!' bots... in disguise). I'll read slash on rare occasions, if it, you know, makes sense, or is gratuitously engaging enough that it doesn't need to make sense. Mostly I read gen, and I tend to prefer the more human interaction driven stuff.

Name one thing you'd LOVE to write, but have been too afraid or shy to do.
I dunno, there is some seriously Fucked Up Shit that I've yet to talk myself into. Though most of my Fucked Up Shit is reserved for Tricolora III.

Do you have trouble taking criticism? Or worse yet, do you have the dreaded bloated ego?
No, initially I didn't care for concrit, cause I didn't really care for the whole idea of improvement, but then I kind of realized, hey, what the hell's the point otherwise? So now I'm like "YES TELL ME YOUR BRUTAL HONESTY I MUST KNOW WHAT IS WRONG"

When you write, is there anything that helps? Music? Quiet room?
Usually there is music. Have trouble with movies, though.

What inspires you?
Really weird things. I get a lot of inspiration from research, a lot from ideas and input from other people, and alot... I have no idea. Naturalized... I think that kind of came from a hybrid of my X-men fixation (mutant/abnormal humans vs. govt) and it evolved from there.  Revelation was inspired by this song (minus the video). I do wish I knew better, though. Then I could utilize it and... tap that ass! Most obvious form is research.

Lastly, how would you sum up your fanfiction experiences and yourself as a writer?
Um... heh, well, this series did help me figure out a lot of my own creative processes and what I'm good at/not so good at therein! Also: action sequences are hard.

Tag some friends because they'll hate you for it.
Oh, they'll hate me enough already. Forgive me my unpopular fandom viewpoints!
