Anna had stayed out most of the night so Luke actually got a good night's sleep compared to the rest of the parents in Fandom. Too bad it was ruined by the god of beekeeping's namesake pounding on his door and screaming "dad" at the top of his lungs early Sunday morning. Now Luke was stuck with the little Percy clone by himself for god knows how

"I wanna play video games," Aritaseus demanded with as much force as he could muster. "You're boring. Everything's boring here!"

"Sounds like a personal problem," Luke said from where he was sitting at his desk. "Your sister isn't bored here."

She seemed to have a ton of fun throwing hissy fits.

"She's a stupid face," Aritaseus said like Luke should know that. "Do you want me to scream? I will."

"Well that'd be annoying, why would you do that?" Luke asked.

[wee_demigods]

"To annoy you."

Percy's genes were strong.

"I'm bored, Dad. Let's do something!"

"Okay what do you want to do?" Luke asked. "We can play video games if you want, but I'm not gonna go easy on you."

"I'm not a baby," Aritaseus said, glaring at him. "Why do you guys treat me like a baby? Anna's old and stuff and you don't treat her like a gramma!"

[trickydemigod]

"Well you kind of act like a baby," Luke said even though that wasn't a very fatherly type thing to say.

For that, Aritaseus got up and came over to kick at Luke's shins. "Would a baby do that, Dad?"

[trickydemigod]

"Ow!" Yeah he was Percy's son. "Hey! I'm your dad, you can't do that!"

[wee_demigods]

Aritaseus started to laugh because that was kind of funny. "Can too! Just did, Dad!"

[trickydemigod]

"How did you get like this?" Luke asked. "And you can't blame it all on your stupid name, your father has a stupid name and he's...well, he's annoying but not quite as annoying as you."

"Learned from the best," Aritaseus said, crossing his arms and looking up at his dad. "Jerkface."

[trickydemigod]

"You're the jerkface," Luke mumbled, rubbing his shin. "I hope you made Percy's life a living hell last night."

[wee_demigods]

"Why don't you guys live together?" Aritaseus asked in a rare display of open curiosity.

[trickydemigod]

"Because we're not together," Luke said. That could have been put more nicely, sure, but Luke did not have patience for this kid. "Surely you were paying attention during your sister's rant yesterday."
