This story breaks my heart. The children are already vulnerable enough, and yet, they are rendered completely helpless by the disease. The epidemic hits small villages. It shouldn't take a scientist to figure out that it spreads through physical interaction such as hugging and sharing dishes, and you know these villages do everything together. Although the intimate details are always the most difficult to uncover and diagnosis isn't easy, I don't know what the hell is going on, either!
