Even on a Sunday - not that the Copper Isles saw Sundays as different than any other day - weapons training proceeded apace.  The majority of the Queen's Guard, whichever of Aly's pack was around, as well as Queen Dovasary and some of her ladies assembled in the training yard to go through exercises and spar together during the early morning.  The

Any strain that his trip had cause was most definitely gone now and Roy lay stretched out on the bed, enjoying the naked woman beside him. There was something different in the light here, he was certain of it, and it was fascinating to watch it play across her skin.

He was drowsy and it would be so easy to fall asleep now, but there was too much he needed to enjoy and he brushed his knuckle lightly along down the small of her back.

"We might have to cancel the whole public dinner tonight," he mused.

"Not going to happen," she murmured, turning her head to look at him from under heavy eyelids.

"I'm comfortable," he sighed and he pressed a kiss to her shoulder.

Aly smiled and slid closer to him, her hand snaking up over his waist. "Be less comfortable when Dove sends someone in to roust us up."

"I could transmute the doors," he said thoughtfully because he'd noticed that only now when they weren't too busy with each other.

She laughed and leaned in for another kiss. "Guess you could, huh."

Roy smiled and gently kissed her back. "Having an alchemist as boyfriend does have its perks," he teased her.

"We're still going to dinner," she informed him, her fingers trailing down his shoulder and over his chest.

Roy chuckled and rested his forehead against hers. "As long as we come back here."

"Mmhmm," she murmured, her palm flattening against his chest. She grinned. "And you can think of me naked the whole time if you want."

He raised an eyebrow at her. "That could get embarrassing," he murmured.

"You don't think you can control yourself?" Aly asked, her eyes wide.

"I think you'll have fun finding out if I can or not," he replied as he traced patterns up her back.

"Maybe I'll make sure to sit next to you," she murmured. "So you'll know I'm not wearing underwear."

He moaned and playfully bit her shoulder. "Evil woman."

"And yet you love me," Aly teased, shivering as she pressed against him.
