Roy let himself in as usual and greeted both kittens before he reached Aly on the couch. "Hey you," he murmured, leaning down to receive his kiss.

She looked up then smiled, reaching up to touch his cheek before she kissed him. "I like how I come after the cats," she murmured.

"It's either that or I fall over them flat on my face and then you'd have to wait longer for the kiss," he replied, nudging her to sit up so he could slide behind her.
