"Stupid," he muttered under his breath. "Stupid brother, stupid Nexus, stupid father, stupid -- STUPID BAG!"
He muttered all of this with every punch at the bag, and was frustrated when the bag barely budged. Lightning was never physically strong. Or at least, not as strong as Thunder. Punching the stupid sack was grinding his nerves much more. Letting out a frustrated yell, he left the bag and went back into the house to clean himself off.
The house was oddly quiet without Thunder. His brother hadn't been home since they fought. Lightning was used to arguing with his brother, but it was never over something serious. This time, they argued over something very drastic and Lightning said something very stupid -- he shook his head, shrugging off the thought. No, it was Thunder that took his words too personally.
... Didn't he?
After cleaning himself off, he went over ideas of what to do. He could give Ophelia a call... but then remembered that she and Brooke were spending the weekend together at Ophelia's house. He could give the other Dragons a call, such as Silvermane and Corey, but everything was still awkward to him. Or he could call Thunder and apologize. ... Yeah right!
He glanced over at Panda, who was fast asleep with a bone in her mouth. "Glad to see someone is doing just fine," he said. Lightning frowned, and sat down on the couch to watch television instead. Maybe the television could kill his boredom.
