Awhile ago, Terra-mun of
jumpcitynexus found these
365 questions exercise to answer for the characters you roleplay, and they're all separated by months. I know that this month is July, but I'm going to be posting the August questions just because of the fact that it's near the end of July now.
I'm going to be doing this with my three pups: Lightning right 'ere,
kory_of_tamaran, and
seemoreofhive. Lightning's questions are already done so I'll give them a post for people to look at if they're interested, and I'll post with the other two later ^_^ I just thought this would be fun to do.
213. If you had to characterize your character as an animal, what animal would you choose? I would probably pick something like one of those sea creatures that have some sort of electrical current going through them, just for the “lol cliché” of it all.
214. If your character were to characterize himself as an animal, what animal would he choose? He would probably see himself as a daring, fierce animal; any kind of animal that has a reputation of being a fierce creature, he would like to characterize himself after.
215. Is your character a follower, a rebel, or a leader? He’s more likely to be a rebel than anything else, but he can be both a good follower and a leader depending on what’s going on in the situation or what he’s doing.
216. Your character wakes up in his home and smells smoke. What does he do? Lightning would suspect that his brother probably burnt breakfast and he doesn’t put much thought into it. He would attempt to go back to sleep.
217. What’s the strangest thing your character ever did? Besides kissing Duela, his almost-official stalker, in the Nexus? Getting transformed into a generic magical girl (Sailor Venus, no less) is probably the strangest thing he’s ever had happen to him.
218. What social niche did your character fill as a child-bully, nerd, cool kid, or something else? Lightning would’ve been a bully if it wasn’t for him having to fight kids away from his brother and to stop them from teasing him. Lightning was more likely the kid that socialized with all of the kids and sometimes got into fights here and there for many different reasons.
219. What’s the luckiest thing that ever happened to your character? The luckiest thing so far was probably him becoming a Titan with his brother.
220. What’s the worst stroke of fortune your character ever had? None so far, unless you count out the Brotherhood of Evil catching him and turning him into a block of ice.
221. If your character had nearly unlimited wealth, what would he spend it on? That's a good question. Handing Lightning money is generally a bad idea, because there's no doubt in my mind that he would use it to either give him a full advantage over something or to get something completely useless. It depends on what he saw was fit at the time, since his simple pleasures tend to change.
222. Who’s the craziest person your character has ever known, and what was their relationship like? Duela. She’s by far the craziest person Lightning knows at the moment, and since they just met, he’s not sure if she can benefit him or actually be a bad thing for him.
223. How does your character make a living and why did he choose that route? He doesn't make a living, per se. He does odd jobs to get the cash in any way he can, along with his brother, and he's still in a family with a parent around. There's no doubt that their family would make sure the two of them were supported wherever they went.
224. If your character had a theme song, what would it be? Thunder-mun and I joke that "The Happy Song" by Liam Lynch is his terrible-but-hilarious-OOC-song, but at the moment I'm not entirely sure what his theme song is. If I find out what it is, there's no doubt that I'll post it eventually.
225. If someone wrote love poetry to or about your character, how would it read? (Either describe or-go ahead-give it a shot and write some poetry. It doesn’t have to be good.) Okay. I didn’t write this. Raptor wrote this, from Duela’s point of view: “Your skin is pale as a beet/your powers are really neat/I really like you, you'd better like me/or else I'll take a hammer to your knee”
226. How would your character court the person of his dreams? As cute as that would be, at this moment there’s no possible way he’d think of courting someone, let alone planning it. He doesn’t have a specific idea and Lightning's mind isn't on girls at the moment.
227. How does your character prefer to solve minor arguments with others? Ever see “Forces of Nature”? And did you ever read the Teen Titans Go! Comic issue where Lightning and Thunder fought? There you go: fight to ze death!
228. What is the worst tragedy your character has ever personally witnessed? I don't think Lightning's witnessed a tragedy, or anything that affected him personally.
229. If your character were a writer, what type of material would he write? He wouldn’t be a writer to begin with, because he thinks it’d be boring, but if he did he would probably only be able to spit out general fiction.
230. How healthy is your character? He’s healthy. He exercises regularly and he keeps his abilities in check. Although, I'm not sure what to say about the way he eats. I imagine that he would have a big appetite despite how "twiggy" he looks.
231. How does your character feel about doctors? He feels rather indifferent towards doctors. He thinks that he can handle most of his illnesses and injuries, but he’s not afraid to go to a doctor if he needed to go.
232. If your character could be someone else, who would he want to be? Nobody else. Lightning likes himself too much to wish to be someone else. If there's anyone he had to switch places with, it would probably be his own brother, just to test out his abilities and to get inside Thunder's head to see what he can use against him for the fun of things.
233. Does your character want power or authority of any kind? Lightning should never, ever have any authority or say-so over anything too huge, due to his ego and the way that he tends to overreact. But safe to say, all he wants is to keep the same power he has and just advance it somehow.
235. Pick three adjectives that best describe your character’s inner nature. Driven. Playful. Impulsive.
236. Pick three adjectives that best describe your character’s outer manner. Obnoxious. Overconfident. Ambitious.
237. What is your character’s view on basic human nature? Nothing too large. He’s just kind of “eh” on human nature and he doesn’t put much thought into it.
238. How does your character view animals-as pests, pets, workers, or dangers? Are pets viewed more as family or as second-class citizens? How far would he go to protect or take care of an animal? He views animals, or at least small animals, as pests the majority of the time. Lightning would rather not put all of his money and energy into a pet. Although, he does like panda bears, and he could be persuaded to keep a pet if it was a pet that didn’t bother him.
239. How generous is your character toward strangers? It depends. Since he's a Titan, he's going to have to be more generous than he usually would. Since he knows he has a duty now, he would try and help anyone out if asked.
With his time? If he's in a hurry to get something else done, Lightning would probably be too impatient to give up his time and drop everything for one person, especially for someone he isn't familiar with. If it's really important, like stopping a criminal or helping someone from certain doom, then he'd help.
His money? He's stingy with his money, so I imagine he isn't so generous in that area.
His aid in times of crisis? He's a Titan, so of course he's going to help out.
His attitudes? ... Ehehe. That depends. If someone catches him at the wrong time and in the wrong mood, there's no compromising.
His emotional support? If it's a stranger? I doubt it. But if it's somebody he's familiar with, trusts, and considers a friend, he would try and help them out with anything, even if he's annoyed with the fact that he has to play as an emotional support.
240. How easily does your character relate to others? He doesn’t tend to relate to other people easily. It takes him awhile to catch onto what they’re saying and what they mean, and it takes a little while for him to draw a personal connection between him and the said-person. He can relate to others, but it just takes awhile to do so and to understand where the other person comes from.
241. Does your character prefer adventure or security? He definitely prefers adventure, above all there is. Lightning likes the challenge, even with knowing it might be dangerous.
242. Is your character a dreamer, or are his feet firmly planted on the ground? He tends to have his feet firmly planted on the ground. He tends to have his moments where his heads might get into the clouds, but Lightning saves that title for his brother rather than himself.
243. What was the last medical problem your character had? Treating his eyes from tear gas. It wasn't anything too bad, but it was the recent problem he had medically.
