Most fics that try this get one piece or the other right - either the fun, slightly-silly feel of the show, or the epic, mythic quality of Arthurian legend. This does both, beautifully.

In which Merlin is a medical intern and Arthur is the Crown Prince of the United Kingdom. This AU is pure crackalicious crack fresh from the crack mines of Pru's mind. I have no idea how long it will go on, but right now there are 8 parts and no end in sight. It's pretty magical, to be honest.

Lancelot's kind of a lame boyfriend and a deadbeat babydaddy. Merlin's a hapless assistant editor, Gwen is hysterically funny, and Arthur is either the devil incarnate or the sexiest man alive, or possibly both.
