Here are my first 10 Yuletide recs - hopefully I'll get it together enough to do more once I've finished reading.

*snerk* I categorically don't do RPF, but the line about andpuff's non-batshittery alone is worth the price of admission. (Not least because she is in fact about as non-batshit as they come. Even by the standards of people in general, not just creative people.) Crackalicious.

I'm not sure which of the two that refers to, but I'll grin and nod either way, as I found both pretty hilarious.

It's Tanya's LJ -- author of the the book series that Blood Ties is based on. I've actually wondered before if a fantasy author is actually allowed to be that sane and down-to-earth. ;-D

I recommend both books and show to the point of being annoying. *g* A number of people have described the show as a sort of more grown-up Buffy, which isn't too far off the mark. The books were around well before, though -- Blood Price came out in 1989.

:D I keep meaning to check them out, but putting it off until I think I can handle taking another vampire novel seriously. Twilight and LKH have ruined me.
