So, i'm actually sitting here trying to do some reading on mary wollstonecraft for my poli sci class, and listening to dave matthews. I realized that the following songs and artists are the music that reminds me a much simpler time: summer '05. this is when we finished high school, i found a solid group of friends to hang out with and do everything stupid, and found out about my new school. all of this played out to this soundtrack:
1. DMB- the best of what's around and many other great songs
2. Eliah- Summer Dance
3. Daft Punk/dream theater/ michael jackson- specifically "Aerodynamic" and all of the songs by these artists i had, i played at some point during our endless hours of playing starcraft. MARINE D!
4. Nujabes- Samurai Champloo soundtrack, listened to when driving to the beach from geoff's house
5. Emma Bunton- all her songs i have signify the closing of summer and historical loss of my car. it seems to me i got punished harder by my parents for a speeding ticket which i went to traffic school for so technically it doesn't exist, than someone who got a dui. go figure.
6. Sneaker Pimps- listened to all their songs like 6 underground and spin spin sugar during all those night time drives to peterson park or wild flower for oko. these were probably the more pointless gatherings.
i think that's enough reminiscing, i have to start searching wikipedia for information on this feminist menace. just kidding
