Bob the spider crawled out from under a table and shifted, becoming Bob the man. "Movin' in with the guy?" he asked, raiasing an eyebrow. "We do remember the meaning of the words 'one night stand', yes?"

"Yes, although I think it's more like a 3-4 night stand at this point." he snorted. "Of course I'm not moving in with him. But I am moving, however."

"Where to, then?" He grunted, sitting down heavily in a chair. "And why?"

[trickster_caleb]

"The Nexus. Feel like I fit in better there, and the only reasosn I have for staying here is Kyle and Charlie.
That's the reason for the story about moving to the other side of the country. How would I even begin to explain the Nexus?"

[spider_bob]

He rolled his eyes and then said, in the tone of one speaking to a very small child, "It's a place where worlds collide. You can get changed into a cat, or a girl there. Come with me, it'll be fun!"

He snorted again.

Leaning back in his chair with and indifferent expression, he said, "Oh, right. Why didn't I think of that? That would do the trick nicely, wouldn't it?" He rolled his eyes.

"But there wouldn't be as much need for you to watch me all the time in the Nexus, would it?"

[spider_bob]

"All the time? No. But I'd still need to check up on you from time to time, and you still need to be taught."

[trickster_caleb]

"Yes, the was the other thing I wanted to talk to you about." he said, letting go of all the sarcasm. "Obviously, you know more about this than I do, and I do need to get this under better control."

((Have to run off for a while. Festival-prepping errands. *is all giddy*))

Bob raised his eyebrows and smirked at Caleb. "Are you asking for my help?

[trickster_caleb]

"Smirk all you want, old man. That's exactly what I'm doing. Will you help me?"

He grunted again and nodded. "I will."

[trickster_caleb]

He let out a breath he didn't know he had been holding. "Thank you."

He rasied an eyebrow. "You'd think I'd say no? Who else is around, kiddo? A nd you need the training."

"Well, when you think about it, I don't really know you, do I? I wasn't sure what you'd say."

"And is there anyone else around who could teach you?" He smirked at Caleb.

He kept his neutral, though somewhat serious tone. This was something that he needed, after all.
"Not likely, no."
