So far reports are spotty, but appear reliable. Punk, Skater, and Rockabilly (Rockabilly?) kids are taking their dissatisfaction with Emo to the streets in Central and South America. The Emo Wars have turned violent.
When this stops being funny (which is to say never) there will be interesting things to say about gender roles and societal change and all that.
