I've been compulsively watching Jessica Jones. It's a bit feminist, a bit noir, a bit comic. There's Tennant as a creepy villain who acts as a metaphor for an abuser, which is very interesting, and a good female cast.
I've also been watching izombie which is entirely fluffy; you'll like it if you liked Veronica Mars. She eats brains, and gets flashbacks from the victim's memories, which she uses to solve murders. She also takes on their personalities - the main actress is amusing as a snarky teen or a grumpy old man. Shenanigans! Also her boss is sexy.
