Euphemisms. I has them.

So apparently I've been using "large mouse" as a euphemism. As in, "Sophie Cat's brought in a large mouse. Again. It's in the bathroom."

Or, "Heck. The cat let loose another large mouse in the hall, and it ran into the bedroom and now it's under my dresser."

Or, "While you were gone, the cat brought one of those big mice in and let it go in the kitchen."

Or then there's, "Sorry for waking you up. The cat released another large mouse in the office, at my desk, right in front of me, is she trying to teach me how to hunt or what?- and I was trying to shoo it out the door. Yeah, I guess the squeaking was rather loud."

I've been informed that my terminology is wrong. Apparently the true meaning of my unintended euphemisms is,"RATS!"

"Sweetie, there's something moving in your studio. Where's the cat?"
