He is cool. I think he's also still delighted that I swapped my (too-cold-for-me) giant art studio for a tiny (too warm for beer) room upstairs, and allowed him to stick a brewery in our house.
The best cat we ever had came to us by way of my dad's car. After doing errands all over New York, my dad headed home in the middle of the night. Someone tapped him on the shoulder; it was Ginger, our new cat. He had a collar on, but we had no way of knowing when he got into the car.
Nah, my parents gave him the name because he was orange. The collar was green leather. I was six and my mom told me he came into my bedroom and tossed the cat on my bed.

That's an interesting way of getting a cat. I wonder why a cat would get into a stranger's car? Did the collar say 'Ginger'?
