"A bug in the hand..."
Bat done, fish done, rabbit painting had its background tweaked again.
Question: What do you call a fine sable paint brush after Dido has used it for 10 years?
Answer: A stick.
Went to the art supply store, bought two new (little) brushes. Cheapass fake hair ones, yet shockingly expensive. Priced the retail price of prestretched canvases like what I'm using, they were twice the price I paid, but they did have lots of interesting shapes.
This is utterly exhausting, yet very satisfying. I think, when I'm ready for another artmo- which may be a while, the next artmo will have to be a BigMo, where everything I make is required to be bigger than 2 feet in at least one dimension. I'm definitely in the swing of making little things, but I need work on making big things. No, what I need is permission to utterly destroy and ruin huge, expensive sheets of paper. Mmmm, destruction. Maybe October would be a good month for that.
