-whats your favorite quote? Do you ever read the Sunday comics? Well, when I was a little kid I used to put my nose right up to them. And I was just amazed because it looked like this mass of dots, and none of it made sense until I pulled back. Life looks like that mass of dots to me sometimes. None of it makes any sense, but I like to think that from God's perspective, life, everything--even this--makes sense. It's not just dots. Instead, we're all connected, and it's beautiful and funny and good. This close we can't expect it to mke sense.

I miss you guys. Hardcore. I can't freakin wait for Thanksgiving break. Only 15 more days. I can't wait to see you, I can't wait to see my family, and I can't wait to eat dinner. I haven't had homemade food in a long time. I didn't even have homemade food when I went home last weekend.
I saw all three Saws on Friday. If you recall about a year ago, I reviewed Saw with highly negative results, and you might also recall a certain campaign to prevent the release of Saw II. (We already saw one! We don't want a Saw Two!) Well, as it turns out, the Saw trilogy is a reverse Matrix trilogy. The Matrix is a tremendous, mindblowing movie that most people find highly entertaining and interesting. However, Reloaded and Revolutions are disastrous attempts to capitalize on Keanu Reeve's good looks and lack of talent. Saw is an ass-backwards attempt to make a scary movie. However, Saw II and Saw III are actually scary, creative, and interesting. I was pleasantly surprised by them.
