progress?
Well, this morning went really well. A whole hour of talking with absolute minimal awkwardness. I got to know more about him, which was great. But he wouldn't let me take him out for breakfast. He said I didn't owe him at all. So I told him that the offer still stood, for breakfast or dinner anytime during the week. I figured I'd still invite him over for dinner sometime this week, even if he didn't take me up on my offer.
He called me up (during Heroes) to say he'd like to take me up on my offer. So I'm going to be making dinner for him sometime this week.
And my roommates were freaking out because I wouldn't tell them why he called until a commercial came on. xD It was the season finale of Heroes!! Like I was going to ignore that for anyone besides Geek Squad.
Of course, all the niceness of the day was contradicted by being locked out of the apartment, a screwed up Taco Time order, and the fact that I had to drive around for 15 minutes before I could find a parking space in our complex after I went to the grocery store.
But I did see Geek Squad as I was leaving the store. :D So I guess life has a love-hate relationship with me today.
