happy labor day
alright so its labor day and what am i doing right now? hiding from my parents and their friends that i dont particularly enjoy.
its been a quite eventful week or so, and since ive got nothing better to do, i will update all my adoring fans out there with my oh so exciting life...ha!
alright so i went to austin texas and had a miserable time...well kinda...first night i got there austin and i watched half of harry potter and then retired to bed very early....and normally for me very early is 1 or 2 am...no no, when i say early i mean 1030 or 11 ish pm...yeah hes not a night owl...then the next day i was dragged to UT austin..expecting a tour, or something fun and touristy when in actuality i barely saw any of the campus except for the inside of the music building and got the chance to meet another guitar player, jeremy. then i was taken to the grocery store as a helper and verbally harassed the whole time....for things i will not mention here, but if you would like to ask me why im sure i will tell u. anyway, that was fun..we returned to the apartment where we watched yet another movie and then i was rescued by one of my bestest friends Drea. thank god for Drea and Pauline....except they made me eat some strange mexican food...wont happen again...then the night was spent getting drunk and catching up with drea on this beautiful rooftop balcony...austin shows up, ruins my fun, and i went to bed...woke up the next morning and who else but drea would order pizza at 10 am...well she did, and as soon as it came i was dragged off to UT austin again so that i could sit in the hall while austin had a meeting with his advisor for something or other. thank god jeremy happened to be there again and i wasnt totally alone..after that we went back home and watched ANOTHER movie...(calendar girls..quite good)...then austin took me to the post office to do more of his errands and then he dropped me off at his place and locked the door while he went to some christian group dinner and bible study...yeah...you didnt read that wrong. 3 hours later his fabulous roommate mat came and rescued me. he took me shopping and we had the most fun ever. then later that night he invited austin and i to a party, austin said no and that i should stay home so that we could go to bed (at 930 pm) so instead of listening to austin, i joined mat at the party...which was great! we had an awesome time and i am so lucky to have met him...austin didnt seem too happy about my newfound closeness with mat but whatever...i love mat and mat loves me ;)
since then i have started school....which is exciting since i just found out that this is my final senior semester! 4 months and then im DONE! i have been given a job for january and february in manhattan assisting with a play festival that im in love with....and i have gotten a new part time job in addition to the theatre work i will be doing around here during the semester...this is where it gets funny.
IM NOW A SERVER AT JAYS ELBOW ROOM.
yes, i know i know...i live there, its where i unwind....but hey, why not get paid to hang out?!
it will be fun...i start on sunday at 1 pm...kickoff time... (yes first day of the football season, with the exception of the thursday night raiders/pats game) and i will be working mainly friday nights and basically weekends....hopefully not weekdays since i wouldnt be getting home til at least 4 am..and i have 9 am classes....
so yes, thats my exciting life at this moment in time...
now off to continue hiding.
