Its been a while.
Big stuff...
I had to make yet another emergency trip home because my brother broke his arm. Mom's new boyfriend is violent and ended up trying to beat up my little brother. My little brother won...he had a pool stick. (note references to brother means jake, from the riverboat. references to little brother represent bill.) Mom and dad's divorce will become official in march when dad decides to front the money. I got the struts replaced in my car and I am going to splurge and buy a new sound system for my car.
Sound System
I am going to buy a kenwood stereo that is capable of playing mp3s, wmas, as well as that apple shit. It also has a spiffy usb port built into it. This makes me happy. It isn't red, as I would have liked, but I traded red for USB capable. This means that I can plug a portable hard drive or a jump drive into my stereo and have muzak. This once again, makes me very happy. I am also replacing my speakers with sony speakers. I would have gotten kenwood, but they are on back order.
Doctor
I finally talked to a doctor about my chronic acid reflux. He told me to take prilosec for a few months and then start taking it every few days, or as needed. He also told me to get more exercise and try to eat healthier. I eat pretty healthy anyway, but I am going to make it a point to start jogging or something...even though I HATE it. He also said that if my acid reflux starts coming back while on prilosec to come back. I hope that I can get rid of it through diet and exercise, rather than needing to take a pill every day for the rest of my life.
Trip home
I enjoyed my trip home this tiem. My brothers and I ran around doing stuff together like we haven't in years. We wrestled, sang, and got up to all sorts of mayhem. We were wrestling on grandma's floor and ended up ripping her carpeting up. We fixed it when we were done. Grandma sat back and giggled most of the time. At one point she jokingly took an iron poker at us. The boys grabbed ahold of it. She told them that they now had dirty hands. They then let go and looked at their hands. Grandma got her poker back. Grandma is tricky. It was funny. Mom is running around with a guy who is living off of his mother's life savings. It is her perogative. I managed to let my mom hurt my feelings for the first time in years. I guess I should have never let my guard down. Oh well...
I aquired books...now I am going to read. I recently read a book called blood memory, which i suggest to everyone. I have also read a child called it. I was sadly dissappointed in it. If it is the third worse case of abuse in california state history, they aren't finding enough cases. Blood memory is about a forensic odontologist who was sexually molested as a child. The book is about her search for the truth. I read it in something like four hours. I couldn't put it down.
