Tonight I revisited Brixton. And boy am I glad I did. I was taken by friends to this absolute gem of a pub called the Effra Hall Tavern and for that I am grateful! It was an absolute joy to listen to the jazz band playing tonight. The Soothsayers rocked. Here is a Timeout link to their recent gig at Vortex Dalston. Funky dub and Afrobeat sums it up
