The nature fairy vibe just doesn't work with Maleficent. Though -- if tumblr is any confirmation -- I liked that Diaval was more than just her annoying raven familiar.
I still don't know how I feel about the Three Fairy Stooges. I understand they were made to look incompetent to boost Maleficent, but they didn't even let the green fairy give her gift, and that's what made Maleficent's own gift sound just off.
Them cheekbones though. Angelina could hurt somebody with those things.
