OK, ladies and gents, I need some help ASAP.

How do you (politely, gently) turn people down?

In specific, a man approx. twice your age who seems to have some creepy dark thoughts behind his goofy, bubbly exterior that asked to have "a cup of coffee, or two, or...".

I'm really bad at this!

something like "I'm flattered that you ask but I'm really not interested"
and say it in a friendly but not flirtacious voice

Oh my word lol. Yeah, that sounds good, just be really sweet and lovely about it but say no. I have similar situation, but he's only 25 so not as bad, still awkward though!
