Self-esteem

Topic for extended chapel today was about self-esteem.
Pastor Andrew, director of A&G home, came to give a talk on this topic. He was an unconventional speaker and very engaging.

He talked about the G.P.s that we should have.
God's promises (to me)
God's Purpose (for me)
Good Principles (in life)
Good Perceptions (of myself)

We are all created by God. all of us have different talents and gifts and we can only find our purpose in our lives if we embrace the talents we have and not condemn or deny them.

We have to have faith in ourselves and the gifts/talents that God has given us. And also to have faith in God that He will help us achieve the purposeful life that'll exuberate joy from our within!

Others can always say nasty things about us to crush our self-esteem. they can take away things that we hold so dearly. but one thing no one can take away from us is our faith. faith in ourselves and faith in God.

We should not put our identity on the things we have or what others say of us. cuz the things we have do not determine who we are. and if ppl use condemning words upon us, we should always ask them why do they say such unkind words.

"For you (God) created my inmost being; you knit me in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, i know that full well"
=Psalms 139:13-14=

The same Hands that created the stars in the sky and the flowers on the earth created us! Are we not much more valuable  than they? so, we are BEAUTIFUL!!

If the world is your stage, who are you performing for?
