Today is my lucky day!
Wow! So there I am, laying in the bathtub, ready to start shaving my second leg. My mom had just walked in the door and the phone rang. I have my hair up in a towel, my hands soaking wet. The phone rings. I pick it up and it says, "North Bay Mattawa." So it's obviously not for me - I put the phone down.
Next thing I know my mom comes barging in the bathroom telling me the phone's for me. Obviously I already had it with me so I shooed her away and answered the phone. Turns out it's this Chris guy from the Ski Hill offering me a job! Oh yah! Not even an interview, a JOB! I get to sell the ski passes up at the hill. Take pictures of them for their pass, and work the cash register! I start Saturday morning at 11:00 and work until 3:00!
THEN I come downstairs (obviously after getting out of the tub and all things that follow that) to two letters in the mail. The first one is from Widdifield, and it has a real fancy-dancy certificate acknowledging me for winning the Queen Elizabeth the II Aiming for the Top Award, which was the scholarship I got. That was nice enough. The second is an envelope from Canadore. I open it up and it says "Congratulations!" I wasn't all too shocked because I just thought it would be congratulating me for winning the scholarship, right?
Nope! Turns out I won ANOTHER bursary! Who knew? So I have to go up to the school today after my appointment with the psoriasis specialist to see how much I won!
So yeah... Today is definitely my lucky day!!!

EDIT: The bursary amount was $800.00!!!!!
