Yesterday, at lunch I headed to the Y with my swim bag and my new swim suit.

Last night's group workout was a strength/run workout at Clark Field. The workout consisted of step-ups, medicine ball squats, lunges, crunches, and hopping up stairs with a full loop of running at a good clip x 3. It wasn't so bad of a workot at all. It was actually kind of fun. Afterwards I met some friends at Freddie's on S. first for dinner. They had the fire going outside, so we were able to order s'mores!
I got home last night, watched the Duke v Virginia game. Cheering for Duke, they lost. *sigh*
This morning, I slept till 8:00. Today at lunch, I need to get in a 60min swim (again) and then I can be done with that swimming thing for at least for two days.
Unfortunately, I will not be going to Carnaval this year. I know!! Such a shocker!! I have an engagement party to go to Saturday night and I decided after 5 years in a row of going to carnaval a break would be good. Besides, I wasn't all that impressed with the wings that I ordered...and they kind of killed it for me. Oh well. There is plenty of other things going on this weekend.
I am very much looking forward to Happy Hour tonight. We are starting at Saba, then Malaga and then 219 west. Woo Hoo!! I don't have to run until 10:00 tomorrow..yippee
