(no subject)
The baseball game Friday night was fun. We had a lively bunch sitting in front of us, which is always fun. At one point the guys sitting in front of us called me, "the lady on the top row..." and after I had said I wasn't that old to be called "lady" they called me "...the young temptress" instead. HA! Yeah, yeah, I am probably 8 years older than them, but I still feel about 22 sometimes. :)
Saturday's workouts were long, but I got through the just fine. I rode with Lucy for 3/4 of the ride and was lucky to have my friend Jake hook up with me on his ride for the last 30 minutes of mine. On my run I was lucky enough to hook up with
ms_zin and
jsherron which made the second half of my run go much, much better.
Saturday was also the day my sister, her two best friends, and my mom came to Austin so we could all be fitted for bridesmaid dresses for my sister's wedding. Amazingly enough, they had the dress in each of the sizes we needed. In less than an hour we had the dresses ordered and we were out the door. I spent the rest of the afternoon napping and then going to hang out with some friends at Opal Divine's, Frank and Angie's, and finally Tambaleo.
Sunday I caught up on some much needed sleep and didn't get out of bed until 10:30. WOO! I spent the rest of the day with friends on a party barge. Too much fun!! The only casualty was my left foot--it slipped and hit a metal pole as I was getting out of the water. It's a little swollen today, but nothing that won't go away soon.
Great weekend... makes it a litle easier to be at work after weekends like that!
