(no subject)
It's a new year, and going good! Spent the first week sick, we went to Out Back for dinner on New Year's Eve and I was too sick to go anywhere else. We had an invite to a friends house, but instead we went home and played Rock Band, then watched the ball drop as the dogs went nuts from the fire works. It was a very nice way to end the year.
Yesterday started a new semester. On the English II, 3 classes down and 5 more to go. It's a long haul, but will be worth it in the end. I plan on this being my last year here at work and then on to school full time. Must cut back on some spending so I can pay off my car, etc.
We took the kids to Benihana's for their birthdays Saturday night, they each brought one friend and then they had them spend the night. It was fun, but lots of noise around our house.
The vegetarian movement is going well. Ron doesn't seem to mind it anymore and he has actually started to eat Boca burgers, and now he uses the Boca meat when he cooks, he figured if he can't win he might as well join me. Well almost....he still eats a steak out, and at the fire station.
