While I still read LJ everyday, I seems liek I haven't post on LJ for some time.
Not much is new.
Had a lovely Thanksgiving with friends in Bremerton and Mini-Thanksgiving Redux with my mother-in-law last night.
Last night was lovely expect for the unexpected plague I came down.* Darren did a small turkey that came out very tasty, tender, juicy and yummy. I made my usual holiday Pumpkin Ginger Bisque and sorta attempted my Mom's stuffing. Dessert was switched to a store bought chocolate silk pie about an hour before MIL was due to arrive. (Orginally I was going to make an apple crisp but that got shelved due to no energy to slice 2lbs of apples.)
Next up is to start finalizing Xmas plans down in So. Cal.
*Woke up with a sore throat and fever; aches and fatigue left me useless to help with last minute cleaning and cooking. This is the second time this season I've ben hit with the ick.
