You know it is funny that a lot of violent protests that eventually turn into riots are started by students. Is it because young people are so idealistic or is it because they have the energy and youth to destroy innocent peoples property? Some of these protests/riots start as anti-whatever. Usually they are upset by the violence that has been pushed upon them so they counter it with violence. So annoying that these things are very difficult to deal with. I remember watching a movie where it was set in the civil rights time. Martin Luther King Jr. had been killed and people were destroying the entire neighborhood. One man says something smart that I think is very smart, "We shouldn't be honoring his image by doing this". While I am still guilty of this I am hoping that I can stop it. It is like many of the kids at my school. They wish for freedom but do not support gay marriage or even a civil union. They have this image that people can be free....as long as they are being free like them. I know nothing about homosexuality but I understand that these people deserve a voice and to be treated like everyone else. But then some people would treat those at my school like crap and would attack their morals, values and beliefs. Now then those people doing the attacking are not accepting all lifestyles. Complicated but doesn't change the fact that we must reflect. Time and thought can make a difference. Yet we do have to do something, apathy is death of progress. I hope that if anyone reads this they do not get offended from my examples I am only trying to get people to think. I have not encountered a person who didn't matter so we should never leave someone out. I am pretty much all over the place with this little piece but I believe that I needed to say it.
P.S. My back hurts and I don't know why????
