No Jury Duty
Damn no jury duty.
It may be about 60 miles from here where I'd have to report but damn I'd rather be there. Waited all week, calling in and hoping I'd be picked.
Ok so I had 3 reasons why I wanted to be in El Centro:
1) Go bug Yadi.
2) Get away from work.
3) The legal process is interesting.
On the bright side, at least they won't be sending me another threatening letter to find me in contempt because I didn't call last time. How come I get the threatening letters, while people I know who've ignored it numerous times get nothing?
I laughed when Yadi finally got hers, after years of ignoring it, she gets one for Civil Grand Jury that will be for the rest of the year. She'll probably be able to get out of it but still, hah!
