I'm so utterly disgusted right now.
Apparently during fourth block yesterday while the football players were out on the field, there was a raccoon in the bleachers.
Did they just laugh and continue with practice?
Nooo, of course not.
Th most logical resolution they could come up with was to throw rocks at it until it jumped off trying to run away, beat it with a metal pole, kick it across the concrete, slit it's throat, cut it's tail off, and then proceed to PARADE AROUND WITH IT AS A TROPHY.
All the while snapping PHOTOGRAPHS.
HOW FUCKING SICK DO YOU HAVE TO BE.
I am so angry.
A friend of mine (who is vegan and a very involved animal activist) and another girl confronted our principal about it. All he had to say, after his long drone about being a hunter and understanding their "point of view", was that he'd talk to them about it.
FUCK THAT BULLSHIT.
We're going to the authorities about it.
I forget the exact name of the organization, but there is no way we're going to let this go without something being done.
I don't know who those boys were but SO HELP ME if I ever find them I swear to fucking god I will attack them.
I don't care if they are big football players.
