However, whatever was done or said, violence isn't the answer. Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) would no doubt agree. He experienced many insults during his life, and he never once raised his voice, much less his fist, in response.
Not surprisingly, RevolutionMuslim.com is down right now. However, I've two links from Zaytuna Institute that I think are good reading for Muslims and non-Muslims alike. They were published during the Danish Cartoon fiasco, a situation that was far worse than this South Park thing. I think they are still applicable.
