The Donkey and the Zebra
Another Ethiopian tale for your delectation:
Zebra and Donkey were going to a fancy-dress party, they both decided to paint themselves up for the event so Donkey began to paint black and white stripes on Zebra. When he finished he passed the brush to Zebra who said: "Look its getting late we have to go, I'll make this quick". So he painted a single line down Donkey's back.
Reminds me of a Rudyard Kipling-style story that one.
