I'm not going to rag you out at all. Yes.. People are stupid when it comes to hurricanes. ANd evacuations. No one ever thinks it's going to be as bad as it is. Hell.. Look at the Mt St Helens crap... Idiots I swear. But.. here is where the evacuation thingee gets a little foggy. There are certain rules the local govt is supposed to adhere to regarding mandatory evacs, etc.. and dude.. seriously.. the mayor and the governor fucked up biiig time. Yes... so did a good chunk of the locals... But yo also have to keep in mind that a lot of the areas that were flooded were BFE type of places.. with very poor inhabitants.. The Mayor was supposed to use city buses and military vehicles to transport the evacuees to higher ground.. at least to the stadium.. But he didnt... The buses sat unused.. well I think a few were used.. but not nearly enough. Then.... the governor.. well I wont even get into that bullshit... I think she's going to be out of a job to say the least. But anyhoo.. I have a lot of homework.. so I'll catch you later...

Oh and yeah... suing the state is kinda stupid... individual idiot people in power is a whole nother thing tho. Depending on circumstances... Flood insurance.. regardless of whether or not you have flood insurance.... ur fucked if you dont.. but ur still fucked if you do.. your home is GONE.. destroyed.. Ur still temporarily homeless and at the mercy of others, unless you have transportation and a sizeable amount of money in the bank. There is no way for the insurance people to track down the insurees, because families are scattered all over the damn place... Things have to get settled down first..

On a plus note, Habitat for Humanity is going to be doing mass amounts of house bulding.. I think I heard on the news that they were planning on building like 1000 homes over there or something. Awesome. I also heard that because of all the job loss, Louisiana was going to wait till all the water is drained, then bring back the people that want to live there again, and assist them in rebuilding their houses... It will create jobs, and save the country a lot of manpower if people are rebuilding their own homes.. How cool is that. I think it's a fan-fucking-tastic idea.

OK, seriously.. off to school
