Stupid People And Laptops
I am so sick of members of the opposite sex. All of you suck ass. With a couple rare exceptions. You're either too cocky and arrogant or you're so freaking self conscious I want to tape your mouth shut so I don't have to hear you piss and moan about how you're a poor excuse for a human being and are destined for failure. And for the record... because I know at least 3 of you are going to ask this... No. Most likely this was not directed to you. BUT.. If you're sitting there wondering if it was.... then you probably have major self esteem issues and need to deal with them. Not everything is a barrage of personal attacks on you. I'm just so aggravated at a few people.
On the other side of the spectrum, we have totally amazing male specimens (those would be the rare exceptions). True friends that you can lean on and ask advice, that give you support, or celebrate your accomplishments. If you're thinking of asking me if you qualify as this type of person, you need to reread the first paragraph about self esteem. Seriously.
Let's see.. what else.. Got a shit load of clothing last night. A very dear friend of mine that has been cheering me up during the whole "mom" thing surprised the hell out of me and wired me a hundred bucks. Didn't ask him to. Didn't hint. I was going thru ebay and mentioned that I needed school clothes because I havent been clothes shopping in a few years. BAM. Got a notice that I was to be wired 50 bucks the next day. So the next day I go in to the western union... and BAM (again) they told me it wasn't 50.. it was 100. What a sweetie... I sent him a long thank you note. Yesterday was the first day I've been able to leave the house without taking a trip to the hospital in a long time. My mom has been transferred to a Phoenix hospital (FINALLY) so I've been able to catch my breath. Still havent had a full night's sleep though. Watch me flunk all my classes because I cant get my shit together in time :P
Speaking of school, the laptop I had picked out for like 2 months is no longer on sale. Boy was I pissed.. BUT I found another on sale for pretty cheap, has a 17" screen.. and I found a backpack that can fit it... Now I just need to find out if you can take laptops into the classroom with you. Even if you can't, I'll still use the laptop at the library. WI FI Hot spot, baby.
Hmmm anyone up for an art show next month? It's supposed to be officially held on the 20th of september, but I'll be going at the end of this month I think. I can ask my friend lots of questions about all of his paintings and whatnot then. I hate stuffy rooms with pretentious assholes. This will be much nicer. I can also hopefully convince him to let me take pics of all his work. Will be harder to do if there's a bunch of people milling about.
I need a vacation. I need to go to Santa Barbara for a week.. or to some desolate jungle location and just focus on my thoughts and frustrations for a few days. God, I'd love that. No distractions. Myabe if I get rich one day, I'll buy a sensory deprivation tank. That would be tight, or tite, as one of my buddies says. Hmm speaking of tite.. I could go for a homemade meatball snadwich... Mmmmm. OK.. toodles. Be good.
Hey... anyone want to see Skeleton Key? I dont want to go alone.. well... I kinda do... but kinda not.. Eh.. I guess I could ask Randall... He appreciates movies like that. OK.. off I go..
Side note to Shawn: I hope your sister's party went well. Let me know if the cops ended up busting it up for under age drinking :P Goobers..
