Mouse and Gel's Search for Cloe

Mouse had taken Gel down the car park stairs that lead from the second level down. Luckily they were away from the cafe and everyone was so busy there anyhow...They walked the Market trying to find a stall that would trade some food for the little items Mouse had brought. Mouse was used to buying at Market and knew some stalls that would work

Gel watched as Moz walked away. "Thank goodness she left." she said to Mouse. "So where were we before we were so rudely interrupted?" Gel looked at Mouse and took another piece of bread for herself. She looked at Janice to make sure she was still there. She was so she turned her full attention to Mouse.

"That was so cool!" Mouse gushed. "You faced down a Mozzie! I can't wait to tell Salene." She smiled. Gel was alot cooler than she originally thought.

Gel laughed, "I did didn't I?" she asked. "You know what? I thought it was about time I stood up for myself. Plus I didn't want her to lash out at you. I've never had a friend like you and I'm not about to let someone hurt you." Gell told Mouse. "As for telling Salene, go ahead if you want, but just don't get me in trouble. I'm not sure facing down Moz was such a good idea seeing as I'm brand new to the mall rats." Gel started to get a worried look on her face. She shook it off and smiled at Mouse. "Do you want amother piece of bread?" she asked the girl.

"Don't worry about me." Mouse tried to sound reassuring. "I've looked after myself for a long time. And I don't think you'll get into trouble with Salene although she might want to know that someone with that much attitude is running around. And she doesn't seem to like Mallrats..." Mouse was trying to figure something out. "No thank. I'm stuffed." She answered Gel's final question. "So...did you run away from your old tribe like Charlie and I did?"

May was not having an easy time of getting the info she was looking for. Oh, the kids were full of ideas of what kind of entertainment they'd like to see return to the city. Of which she had to report to Salene. But who was behind the unrest she was seeing? Could be a possible Techno trying to snatch some power, but in a non-Techno related way. Could be someone new in the city.

As she prowled through the Market she saw two familiar faces. "So this is where the two of you have been." She greeted Mouse and Gel as she walked up. "I'd wondered where the two of you had snuck off to."

Mouse almost jumped at the sound of May's voice. Almost...She frowned. May wasn't exactly her fave person. She was hooked on the Game no matter how often she said she wasn't and Mouse HATED the Game. And May had once threatened her life. That was not something she could forgive very quickly.

"We've been looking for Cloe, but since no one seems to know where she is I guess we'll go back to the Mall." Was what she told May.

"It's a good thing I found the two of you then." May almost smiled. "Because Cloe's back at the Mall." She might not have been able to find out any information, but atleast she could give some it seemed.

[tribal_mouse]

"Cloe's back at the Mall!?! Why didn't someone get us sooner!" Without waiting for May she ran ahead through the Market towards the Mall.

Gel sighed and answered, "No I didn't run away. I was taken by the Techno's and when I got back a few weeks ago, my old tribe was gone. They disappeared completely." Gel sighed again. "I think we should go home now. Why don't we tell Janice she can come find us if she wants to talk. I don't want anyone to start to worry about us."

"You're right..." Mouse quickly ran over to Janice explaining to her that they couldn't stay any longer and that if she wanted to ever talk to them to come to the Mall. With that taken care of Mouse came back to Gel. "I'm sorry The Technos kidnapped you. But I'm glad you got away! Let's get going!"

"Alright lets go." Gel said. She followed Mouse back to the mall.
