It took a while for Jay to awake fully. He'd been having disturbing dreams, in the last one he'd been fist fighting. When he came around a little more he realized that his hands were actually throbbing a bit. His brain was still fuzzy and it took a moment or two before he remembered why they hurt, and what all had happened the day before. Ebony had talked him into having his hands looked at in the hospital last night, and they didn't think that he had broken anything. They would just be sore for a day or two from all of the battering they had received.
At any rate he was in better shape than Tai-San, or that girl that had been brought in last night, Ruby? It seemed kind of weird to have two head-injury cases in the hospital at once. Eventually he'd go and check on them, see if he could find out from Tai-San her side of the story. He wanted to believe Ebony, more than anything, but he knew that if Tai-San told a different version of the story people like Lex would be after Ebony. Poor Ebony, people were always so suspicious of everything that she did.
He rolled over and took a look at her, sleeping there beside him so peacefully. She has such a sweet face. Such full, lushious lips too. Slowly his drowsy mind started to warm up as he watched over his sleeping love. Gently he brushed back the covers just a bit so that his eyes could travel a bit further over her. The more he saw, the more that he wanted her and he just couldn't wait any longer for her to awaken. Snuggling up closer to her as he wrapped her in his arms, he leaned in and placed a lingering kiss on her neck.
Later he took a nice warm shower and got dressed for the day, then headed down to the hospital. The trial was later today and he'd have to arrange another full detail of security. So much to do, but it would be a good day. Ebony had already seen to that.
