I can't bogart all the Holiday joy

On Christmas Eve 2006, Trianglegirl and myself decided to spend some together time by catching a movie. Something we had not done in several weeks. Because of some miscommunications we decided to go see Eragon at the Woodbury Theater.

In the lobby is a large cloth poster for the Ninja Turtle movie coming in March. I stopped, mouth opened in awe and wonder as I stared at the graceful lines and ninjaesque colors of this tremendous work of art. The poster stared back. It beckoned me. It wished me a Cowbunga Christmas. It asked if I wanted something to drink... Oh wait, that was Trianglegirl.

My attention broken (and Trianglegirl is probably the only one that would have broken that connection at that time, Yes she rates higher than the turtles) we proceed into the theater. Of course, I need a Dr. Pepper and since it's the Woodbury theater I get like 5 gallons for $2.50. SWEET! I love that theater!

We enter the theater and pick a couple of good seats. It was fight though. There were already TWO other people in the theater! But I gave them my Rapheal snarl and I'm pretty sure they almost noticed it. We sat down and I chatted excitedly about the wonderous work of art I had seen in the lobby. Trianglegirl gave me that look that says "I love you but seriously freakboy, hands off!". But she indulged me enough to let me ramble until the lights went down slowly.

Now here is another of the many, many, many reason I love the Woodbury Theater. They don't show 30 minutes of commercials before getting to the previews. The lights dim, you get previews, which means they can show more previews! The Green preview screen illuminates the theater as our eyes adjust to the sudden change in light. My vision clears and what, on this holiest and most blessed of nights do I witness?

Happy Holidays everyone! Hugs and love to you all!
