I'm not closing this journal, but I am going to probably start using Face Book a little more. I just started there and have more friends than I have here, also, many of the people here. I don't use FaceBook :-/ I still don't understand its allure.

It is much the same as other networking sites, really, even this one, though it is connected by peoples real names instead of some other random moniker.

How are you..? I heard you got married (heh, read your post on changing your name) congrats! are you happy?

Yeah, I only hear about aged relatives who use FaceBook, so maybe that's why I just "don't get it."

I sure did get married! His name is Jim and he's pretty awesome. We live together in Plant City at the old home place (my granny's old house, she passed in Dec. 2005, tho). I'm happy and stay busy. I don't see too many folks from the scene anymore, but don't really give a shit ;)

I don't know that I've ever considered myself part of any scene, but I haven't gone to any clubs in almost 3 years, Though I figure I likely will go after I do break down and get a vehicle.

There sure are a lot of Jims out there. I work with three of them, and there are only 10 people that work at my store. I am glad that everything is going well for you.. you really deserve it!

i actually just started posting again here.
I feel like facebook isn't the same. if i want to rant about stuff, i feel a little uncomfortable since family and old co-workers are on there.

i might use blogger and link my posts to here, though.

Heh. That was sort of the exact thought I had, especially as my mother, and my brother's boyfriend were two of the people who suggested that I sign up there...

I do actually use LJ more for personal exorcism.. Most of the posts I make to it are "my eyes only" sort of things.
