Well I suppose I might have to look into such things abit more at length.
400$ a month is quite a lot for me, not impossible but difficult.
Especially considering that in order to explore the area effectively I would likely have to buy some sort of truck upon getting out there.. I was thinking a pack horse but I doubt the practicallity of that.
Seeing as how Durango is a big train hub that would probably be my method of getting out there, as traveling across the us by train sounds like fun.
The american west is just one possibility for me as well, but it is a little more practical than some of the foreign destinations that I dream of, and just as varied, desolate, and culturally interesting as many other spots in the world. Definitely a place where a man can be a man.
Waiting for offers and opportunities hasn't worked out so well the last few years, so I aim to make something happen as soon as I can.
I'll have to look for tradesmen and so forth that need helpers.
I'm not sure how things will develop, but this certainly does have some of the rusty gears in my head turning, so I'll certainly stay in touch.

Yeah man the west is where it's at. Don't waste it down in Florida forever.
