The Stills' first album was soooo good. I went to see them for my second date with my honey, I have a great fondness for their first album, I love it, love it, love it. Shimmery, layered guitars, ethereal sounding, very moody album. Gorgeous.
their new album is so different from their first that I can barely listen to it. They sound like Ambulance LTD now. The irony here is that i like Ambulance LTD. a lot. But I don't like there being two of them now and no first-album Stills.
They used to be a four-piece and are now a five-piece with only two of the original members and I don't like it at all. I'm just so irritated about it!
