"Fear makes you weak." That's what her mom always said. Kara's loath to listen to her after all she did, but some things are written in your reflexes. Some things you can't forget.
She's afraid now, frak. She's got no idea what's going on, but she saw Earth. That she knows, like she knows her own name - even if she's starting to doubt that, at a level she doesn't want to acknowledge.
