A shinobi. Matt arched a brow at that. Just one more thing that had made the leap from video games to reality in World's Ends. And like the zombies, he was pretty sure that the real deal would be a little more challenging.

He listened to Link's words, watched his actions with what appeared to be a half-interested gaze. At first he thought it was some sort of prayer. He was never a spiritual guy himself, but if it helped give others courage or hope, he didn't knock it. He's never questioned Mello about his rosary. Given his assumption, the light show was a bit of a surprise. And the part about being invulnerable?

"Amen." Well, it couldn't hurt.

Matt took out his gun for one last inspection, but he was listening. Every time Wesker's name was mentioned, he felt the urge to shoot something. And with the "fight to the death" talk, he might get his chance. His head jerked up at the first sign of motion, before he realized it was Link who was taking off down the trail. "Last one there's a rotten egg." He murmured before falling in step behind him.
